Project Overview

Unistrut support systems were supplied for a large-scale data centre development in Europe, forming a critical element of the project’s mechanical and electrical infrastructure. The solution was delivered in line with strict technical standards, within a constrained site environment typical of hyperscale data centre construction. We were tasked with supplying approximately 70,000 metres of high-performance Unistrut, across multiple lengths and dimensions, meeting the client’s quality, compliance, and installation requirements while supporting a fast-paced construction programme.

Key Challenges

  • Limited on-site accommodation and storage capacity
  • Complex logistics planning to support just-in-time delivery
  • Maintaining installation momentum without disrupting site operations

Our Approach

We implemented a highly collaborative project management and logistics strategy from the outset. This included close coordination with the client, main contractor, and site teams, alongside carefully phased deliveries aligned to site sequencing. Continuous communication ensured production, transport, and installation schedules remained fully synchronised throughout the programme.

Outcome

The project was delivered successfully and on programme, achieving:

  • Full alignment with programme milestones, supporting efficient and uninterrupted site execution
  • Material deliveries precisely aligned with site sequencing requirements
  • Minimal site congestion despite restricted storage conditions
  • Installation of a high-quality Unistrut solution to exact client standards
